Olive Oil Facial – Is The Jury Still

After having frequented beauty supply stores for years and trying nearly every product on the shelves, I am convinced that the natural oils and herbs are best for real inner and outer beauty and health. One such product that I have found is coconut oil.

If you are using low-fat protein shakes such as Almased or Quick Trim, feel free to add a few teaspoons of olive oil or ground flax seeds to your smoothie. I have never noticed a difference in taste.

Organic coconut oil will protect your skin from getting a bacterial infection when applied topically and consumed regularly. What sets coconut oil apart from the other oils are the medium chain fatty acids vs. long chain fatty acids (found in other oils). These are the total opposite in that they are not easily penetrated by the skin and will clog the pores, without the very important anti-properties.

Coconut oil is a solid at room temperature, but your body heat will melt it quickly. Use your fingertips to gently massage the VCO on your face in circular motions. Let it sit on your face for about twenty minutes. Massage for 5 minutes, then let it sit for 5 minutes, and massage for 5 minutes again. Continue this for the entire twenty minutes.

Importantly, the first of the minyak lintah, is that it is highly beneficial to your health and well-being. Coconut oil has been shown to help with controlling cholesterol levels, boosting energy, increasing thyroid function, and also boosting your metabolism. These serious bonuses with so many millions who struggle with these health conditions. Coconut oil is also really easy to implement as a supplement, just add a tablespoon to your morning coffee or add it to a smoothie and reap the benefits!

Coconut oil can improve the condition of your digestive system by making it easier for you to move your bowels. It maintains the natural flora of your digestive tract and the proliferation of good bacteria. It also cleanses the colon, so you can absorb nutrients a lot better.

But there are some oils that are not digested like this. Instead, they are routed directly to the liver, where they are converted immediately into energy, in much the same way as carbohydrates are, but without causing a spike in blood sugar.

Further, this diet does not prescribe any specific types of foods, proportions of foods, or manners by which foods should be consumed along with the oil. It also does not involve very strict rules and routines to follow to make the diet a success. Instead, it only recommends that coconut oil be consumed in regular amounts each day as regular dietary oil, much like how people in the tropics use this oil to optimize their health and prevent unwarranted weight gain. Nothing more, nothing less. No products. No sophisticated ways to use the oil. No innovative exercise machines…just the use of the oil in combination with a regular diet.
